Studio Tuition Policy
*Please note that students who take both Presto and take Private Violin or Viola will receive a discount of $10/month or $40/semester for their stringed instrument.
Music Lessons are held Aug-May with scheduled breaks that have been calculated into your tuition.
Please notify your teacher by April 1st if you'd like to take Summer Lessons (June-July).
Tuition Installments will be due on the 1st lesson of the semester (August and January) or, if paying monthly, on the 1st, 5th, 9th, and 13th lessons each semester. These should line up with the 1st week of each month. A schedule will be given to all parents at the beginning of the year.
*If tuition is late, a $25 late fee will be charged to the students’ account. If the family reaches more than 3 late fees in a 6-month period, or refuses to pay tuition, the family may be asked to leave the studio.

Teaching rates are updated based on my credentials and training. While I will notify students of any rate increase, please expect an increase in tuition every odd year starting in the Fall semester.
Due to my limited availability and the nature of group lessons, makeup lessons are not available.
*If an absence arises due to a scheduling error or illness on my part, every effort will be made to reschedule the lesson. If I am not able to reschedule, I will issue a refund or credit the student's account(s). If the roads are impassible due to weather, having a lesson via skype/zoom may be viable option for that week. Please contact me at least an hour before your lesson if this is needed.
